1. Are we saved by good works (karma) or by faith?
We are saved by faith and not by good karma. The Bible teaches: For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from good works, so that no one can boast. For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them. If it was by karma, everyone could have attained it; then God would be a debtor. But God is no debtor. It is a general attitude of people to do good karma, in order to outweigh the bad karma. Unfortunately the Bible doesn’t teach that way; you cannot earn your way to heaven. We are saved by God’s mercies and kindness; not because of what we did but by what Christ did for us. Jesus said: “For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” So karma is not the means of salvation (moksha). You can get saved by entering a relationship with God. According to the scripture mentioned above, you can receive forgiveness from God by faith, and ask Him to enter you life. It’s that simple, and God is eagerly waiting for you to do that; because He wants to love you as His own son. Are you willing to say goodbye to your past and be saved by faith? 2. Does God forgive everyone? Even the most sinful person who doesn't want to change?
Yes, God does forgive everyone, but on the condition that they repent. The Bible teaches: God wants everyone to be saved and to know the whole truth, which is, there is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only one who can bring us to God. God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die. Isn’t it clear from this scripture that, God doesn’t want people to perish but to be saved? Any person even the most sinful and evil, who declares Jesus Christ as savior and Lord, repents and sincerely asks forgiveness will be forgiven. God is full of mercy and love; He will not turn away anyone who pleads forgiveness. Are you forgiven and delivered from the eternal curse of death in hell? If not please hurry and log on to www.godlovestheworld.com.
3. If I sin, will I still go to heaven?
If you have declared Jesus Christ as Lord of your life, you are justified of all sins or pap and you become a citizen of heaven. The Bible teaches that the penalty of pap or sin is Death, but the gift of God is eternal life (eternal moksha) through Jesus Christ. The basis to go to heaven is faith in Jesus Christ not the ability to overcome sin or doing good karma. We cannot overcome sin or pap by ourselves through good karma unless with the help of God. You can get rid of your sins if you accept God’s free gift of moksha through Jesus Christ. God loved the people of the world so much that He gave His only son as a sacrifice(Yajna, prayaschitta), so that who ever puts their faith in Him will not perish but have eternal life in heaven. If you repent and confess your sins, Jesus stands on your behalf declaring you forgiven and a child of God. Are you able to overcome pap on your own? If not get God’s help; log on to www.godlovestheworld.com.
4. Is Baptism necessary?
Yes, baptism is necessary – if you truly believe in Christ and would like to testify to the world of your faith. But the bible does not teach baptism as an end and source of salvation. Salvation is by faith and not by karma. The bible tells: For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works (karma), so that no one can boast. Baptism is an outward sign of inner transformation and cleansing that identifies a person with the body of Christ. Baptism is a testimony. When one is baptized by water, it is to be identified with the body of Christ; a testimony to others that the person believes in Jesus and belongs to Him. It is therefore not the baptism that saves them, but their faith in Jesus. To know more about the Christian Faith see www.whoisjesus-really.org.
5. Is it possible for a Christian to lose salvation i.e. if they renounce God and refuse to repent from their sins even after accepting Christ?
This question is infact for God to decide. But let me rephrase the question in this way: Will a father disown a son no matter how naughty his child is? Of course not, because he loves his child. How much more loving will be our father in heaven? Once a person declares Jesus as Lord of his life, he becomes God’s child and God promises that He will never leave him nor forsake him. If a Christian willfully renounces God, then God will be after him for the rest of his life prompting him to repent and come back. The Holy Spirit of God who lives in a Christian constantly reminds the Christian to change his/her ways when he/she sins. God never gives-up on His children, because He is a God of forgiveness and mercy. Are you a child of God yet? If not log on to www.godlovestheworld.com.
6. What about Jews, Muslims, people of other religions … are they not going to heaven?
Only God knows the hearts of people towards Him. He alone passes the final judgement on any person; Christian, Muslim or Hindu. God looks at the attitude not the religion. Jesus said, “I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father but by me.” The bible teaches of only one way, which is through the Word. The Word is Jesus. If a person whether Muslim, Hindu or Jew any where around the world is sincerely seeking God, to know Him and submit their lives to Him, He knows it. God will make His way known to them one way or the other, because he loves the world. The bible explains God’s love: God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son; that who so ever believes in Him will not perish put have everlasting life. Are you going to heaven? 7. At what age does it become a requirement to believe in God so that eternal life can be gained? What happens to infants who die?
The Bible teaches that the judgments given by God are trustworthy and absolutely just. It also teaches that there is an age of accountability i.e. the age of knowing right from wrong; if God is a just He will not judge a child until He/she reaches such an age. A person is accountable to God from the time he/she is mature enough to understand right and wrong, truth and lie. Do you know the truth of salvation? See www.godlovestheworld.com.
8. What if I don’t accept nor reject God?
The Bible teaches that: For since the creation of the world God’s invisible attributes — his eternal power and divine nature — have been clearly seen, because they are understood through what has been made. So people are without excuse. We are without excuse that we do not know God. The truth of God is hidden in the hearts of all humanity, it’s up to us to seek it or reject it. Consider this: What if the very reason for this life is to make a decision for or against God? In that case, if we don’t say yes to God, we have therefore said no. Have you accepted the truth of God? 9. Why am I being punished for Adam & Eve’s sin?
Have you anytime tried to live life on your own without acknowledging God? If so, there you go you ate the forbidden fruit. Everyone is born godly, but as they mature and grow up they forget God. The bible teaches: All have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. We’re all guilty of trying to work our lives work without God. Therefore we are being punished for our own sins, not some one else. But there’s a way out through the gift of Jesus Christ. God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son that who ever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. To know more visit www.godlovestheworld.com.
10. How can a miracle work in a sinful man’s life?
If a miracle doesn’t work for a sinful man, it won’t work for anyone else. God loves all the people of the world equally, He has no favorites. God loves you the way He loves me and everyone else. The bible teaches: For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. You see, everyone’s a sinner. God’s love and kindness belongs to everyone; both you and me and everyone else be it a Hindu, Christian or Muslim. God’s miracle is for everyone He blesses it with. God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son that who ever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. That’s called salvation or moksha (a once and for all prayaschitta by Jesus Christ), the greatest miracle of all. Infact you can have it right now, if you thirst for it; visit www.godlovestheworld.com.
About Heaven
1. Can people in heaven see us here on earth?
The bible records: We are surrounded by such a great cloud of witness. That can mean those in heaven can see us if they choose to. But of course we can’t see them. Instead let your focus go toward God who sees all things in us hidden and plain. Infact you can see God in faith; to know how visit www.godlovestheworld.com.
2. If heaven exists, why am I not there?
The bible teaches that: All have sinned and separated from God. We’re all separated from God because of pap or sin; otherwise earth would have been a paradise. Let me put it this way; remember we are not the only creatures God created, there are angels too, but living in heaven. 1/3rd of the angels turned against God and was therefore thrown out of heaven. So it would be false to assume that if you were in heaven, you’d automatically want God. Whether we’re an angel in heaven or a person on earth, this time period appears to be a time of testing. The test is to see who will choose God and who won’t. Would you want to pass that test? If so visit www.godlovestheworld.com.
3. Is there really a heaven? What is heaven like?
Before Jesus went to heaven he said to His disciples, “In my father’s house there are many dwelling places.” So heaven can be a place like a huge town or city even more than that; with beauty beyond human imagination. Why don’t we think in this way, if the earth is so beautiful; how much more awesome would be heaven? Think about living in a place with no sorrow or pain forever. Not everyone can enter this eternal city though, but only if follow the path of God; to know how visit www.godlovestheworld.com.
4. What do we know about heaven?
There will be no more death or mourning or pain or death. That’s what one of the ways the bible describes heaven. Isn’t that awesome? A land of happiness, joy and prosperity. No famine, no earthquakes, no tsunami, no murder nor kidnap, no poverty, no corrupt politicians, no suffering, no leaky homes etc. etc. Look around the earth, how beautiful it is. God is very creative and He loves us. He has made the best home all of His children who believe and trust in Him. To know more about God and how to get to heaven log on to www.godlovestheworld.com.
5. What is meant by treasures in heaven?
The bible teaches: Do not accumulate for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But accumulate for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. We can’t be sure what exactly these riches are but one thing’s sure, it’s eternal. Jesus said, “In my father’s house there are many dwelling places.” So it also has to be a prosperous beautiful city with treasures, something which humanity has never seen or imagined. The treasures could be something even more than that; beyond imagination. The question is, who can have those treasures or who can enter into such this eternal city? To know how visit www.godlovestheworld.com.
